Allan Sheps

Allan Sheps is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in Ontario.  With over 50 years of clinical practice in individual, couple and group therapy as well as managerial and administrative experience, Allan is now semi retired focusing his current clinical work in group therapy, particularly in men’s groups, group training, and therapist process groups. He is a Founding Co-director and faculty member of the Toronto Institute of Group Studies.  

Recipient of a Diploma in group psychotherapy from the former Ontario Group Psychotherapy Association, he went on to become a Co-director of the Toronto Section Training Program of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association (CGPA) and also served a term as president of CGPA.  An annual presenter at both the former CGPA as well as the American Group Psychotherapy Association his clinical work and leadership has been acknowledged with a Fellowship in both organizations.

Allan is returning to the CGPF board having been a member from 2002-2004.
