This scholarship is intended for group therapists who wish to attend the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA)'s annual conference (Connect) or Institute. Up to two scholarships of $1000 each are available annually. Successful applicants will be referred to the AGPA scholarship committee, as they may also be eligible for reduced conference registration fees.

This scholarship is funded through The Jackman Award, which was established by Dr. Eric Jackman through the Jackman Foundation. Dr. Jackman has been a champion of group therapy for decades. For his significant work furthering early childhood education and contributions to his community, he has received many notable awards and distinctions, including the Order of Ontario and Order of Canada.
