Terry Simonik

Terry Simonik, MEd, RP, FCGPA is a Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto with a private practice in group and individual psychotherapy. She also currently serves as a Co-Director of the Toronto Institute of Group Studies. Terry has been a committed advocate for group therapy and has promoted the incredible value of understanding group dynamics and group process in the many diverse contexts in which she has worked, including hospital, community, private practice and organizational settings. 
Terry also served as past president of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association and was awarded a fellowship by CGPA for her contributions.
Terry joined the Board of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Foundation in 2026 with the intention of supporting and serving the next generation of group leaders
