


Eric Jackman
Now retired, Dr. Eric Jackman practiced professionally as a Clinical Psychologist. He provided extensive consulting services with various psychiatric and teaching hospitals, adolescent residences, juvenile courts, agencies for the blind and disabled, restaurants, and public utilities in the United States and Canada. His practice involved individual, couple, and group psychotherapy.

Eric is a Fellow of the Canadian Group Psychotherapy Association and was appointed Honorary President of CGPF in 2005. He twice served on the board of the American Group Psychotherapy Foundation (now Group Foundation for Advancing Mental Health). Eric also represented Canada as a board member of the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Process.
Eric is a Life Member of the American Psychological Association, the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), and the Ontario Psychological Association, from which he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his "significant and sustained contribution to the life of professional psychology in Ontario." Eric is the recipient of several honorary doctorates, a member of the Order of Canada, and was awarded the Order of Ontario "as a philanthropist and prominent psychologist whose contributions in the field have significantly benefited communities." In 2022, he was the recipient of CPA's award for Distinguished Contributions to Psychology as a Profession.
