Ingrid Söchting

Ingrid Söchting, Ph.D., is a Registered Clinical Psychologist in British Columbia. She is also a Clinical Professor in the University of British Columbia (UBC) Department of Psychiatry, and Director of the UBC Psychology Clinic, an academic training clinic in UBC's Clinical Psychology program. Over the past 30 years, Ingrid has developed, facilitated, and supervised a range of mood, anxiety, OCD, and trauma groups in both public health and the UBC Psychology Clinic. She has written a guide to group CBT, entitled Cognitive Behavioral Group Therapy: Challenges and Opportunities (Wiley-Blackwell, 2014).

Ingrid has served on the CGPF Board of Directors since 2014, first as Secretary-Treasurer and most recently as President.
