Xiaolei Deng

Xiaolei Deng is a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia (UBC), who is nearing graduation and registration as a Clinical Psychologist.

 

Xiaoei received lifespan training in group therapy during his Clinical Psychology program at UBC and his residency training at Shared Health in Manitoba. Xiaolei has treated both adults and children (ages 7-18) with OCD, anxiety, depression, complex pain, trauma, and selective mutism with CBT-based group therapy. Xiaolei is also experienced with process-driven group therapy for caregivers of traumatic brain injury survivors. Xiaolei has worked on various university committees and student organizations during his graduate training.

Xiaolei has been a CGPF board member since 2023.
